Wall displays are great ways to show off more than one photo on a wall. I love spending time with people deciding on a design that will be perfect for their walls. These work for wedding photos or for portrait photos. Here are a few examples of possible wall displays. Each photo is individually framed and then hung in the particular pattern. Alternatively you can do them in canvas’ and block mounts.
I love choices. I’m not that great at decisions but I do love to be given options. I love big specialised stores when they have more options than you can even look at. That’s why I’ve just added a few new albums to my range.
My new Tuscany albums have enabled me to offer Magazine style albums for a more affordable price. However, for those who are looking for something a little more elegant or want more control over their covers then the Seldex Premier Range will offer you that. The Art Album (which I am yet to recieve so do not have a photograph of) is another amazing option which allows you to combine magazine style layouts with matted pages. And for those of you who just like the matted albums - I’ve got them as well.
Anyway, here’s a few pictures. If you would like to see the albums in person then fill in the contacts form to make an appointment.
The 8×8 Matted album is a good started Wedding album. It also makes a awesome Signing book at a wedding. The matted pages can be signed on by guests. It’s a great way to include your engagement session photos in your wedding.

This is a 5×5 Tuscany Album. I’ve got a bigger one on the way but I just love this hand-bag sized one. They make great parent books or great as a duplicate album to put in your bag to show friends or take to work. They come with a little cover as well. In fact, I like them so much that anyone who books with a album package in July or August will get a bonus on of these thrown in (sorry, this excludes all previous bookings).
The Sedex Premier Album comes with a huge variety of covers and in a variety of sizes.
J-Lee Albums make good session albums – especially for portraits and engagements. They are also good for parent albums.
These are how your wedding DVDs are presented. The black box is silk-lined. A beautiful leather case with a photo insert contains a printed DVD. These are such a nice way to preserve your wedding files and are so much nicer than they plastic cases we usually find DVDs in.

And like every special occasion – the presentation of your album (or anything you purchase from me) is worthy of some nice gift wrap. Here’s Broni & Anthony’s album ready for them to collect.

This is my official new logo. I decided it was time for a change. In case you’re wondering why the butterfly. Apart from the fact that I really like butterflys (Natalie’s room has a butterfly theme), I also thought they fit with the concept of First Glimpse. Butterflys break through their coccoon and start a completely different life – much like when you get married, or when a new baby is born, or as children enter any new stage of life. The butterfly’s unique beauty passes so quickly as they only live a few days after they leave the coocoon and to me that is a reminder of the need to capture images while you can – moments pass so quickly and we want to remember the beauty and uniquness of each stage of our lives.
I also want to thank Lauren who helped me with the concept and design. This blog will be covered in pohtos of Lauren in a few weeks as she’s getting married next Saturday! I’m really looking forward to photographing her wedding.
There are thank-you cards available within a number of my packages. These are usually postcard style cards with a gloss laminate on the front and black and white back. Upgrades to folded cards or to full colour postcards are also available. I thought I’d put some examples up here so that my couples can show me their preferences. Obviously, because each wedding is a little different and photos vary your card will be a custom design. However, giving some examples will help people to give me feedback on which style and design they prefer. I will incude 6 option for the front of cards and 3 options for the back of cards. You may choose to have text on the front and back, front, or just the back. You can choose to have one feature photo on the front or try to showcase a few. As you can see, I’ve used some of the photos from Broni & Anthony’s recent wedding to showcase quite a few of the options. There are also a few from Alex & Mary-ann’s wedding last year.

These are a wonderful way to combine a number of images into a smaller space. Many of my clients are opting for these recently. I thought I’d put a few examples up here so that I can refer people to it if they want to know what kind of designs they could choose from. I’ll put numbers with them to make them clear.

STORYBOARDS:
Storyboards are long and skinny. The normal size for a wall storyboard is 10×20 although it can be larger. However, I do do mini-versions which are block mounted and come with a little stand.
Storyboard A: Standard Storyboard with 3 openings:
Storyboard B: Plain storyboard with 4 openings (text optional)
Storyboard C: Storyboard with fancy boarders. This is fairly popular for engagements and Weddings.
Storyboard D: Storyboard with landscape background.
Option E: Storyboard with opaque background.
There are of coarse endless options. However, these are the ones that I have found the most popular. Storyboards and collages can either be framed or block mounted. I highly recommend block mounting as it presents them really nicely. You can also get the mini copies done for gifts for grand-parents – they love them!
