This little one arrived a little early.  What an adorable little boy he is!  His two big brothers were also a wonderful addition to the photo session.

My exciting news is that our family is expanding.  We are expecting baby #3 sometime in October.  That may explain my lack of absence from this recent work page.  I suffer from pretty bad morning sickness and decided it would be best to take the first part of this year off while I was waiting for it to pass.  However, I have been busily back at work for the last month or so and I’ll be posting some of my recent work shortly. 

Despite the morning sickness I’ve still kept up my normal gym workouts and I’m feeling fit and planning to work through until August.  However after that I will most probably be out of action until after Christmas so if you were hoping to get photos done in time for Christmas then you will need to make a booking in either July and August.

That’s how I have to describe this little newborn.  Such an adorable little face and beautiful crop of black hair. 

It’s been quite a few weeks since I had the privilege of photographing this adorable little boy and his lovely parents.  He made quite a early and scary appearance into the world which got in the way of our maternity session plans.  However I was glad I was able to meet him soon after his birth to capture some beautiful photos. 

4 years ago today I didn’t have a clue what to expect.  I was about to become a mum for the first time and I honestly didn’t know if I was going to like it all that much.  So much has changed.  Four years later I am totally in love with being a mum.  I feel so blessed to have two adorable and fun little girls.   Today Natalie my oldest turns 4.  She’s growing up so fast!  It’s such a privilege to have her in my life.  Happy Birthday Natalie!

I want to take this opportunity to thank all my wonderful clients for making this year such a enjoyable year for me in my business.  It has been a joy to photograph you and be a part in preserving your precious memories. 

Christmas is such a enjoyable time for our family as we celebrate the birth of Jesus.  I wish you a wonderful and blessed Christmas.  I also wish you the very best for the new year.

The ideal time-frame for getting sleepy newborn shots is within the first 10 days of a babies life.  No-one sent the memo to little baby Jonathan.  After some beautiful awake shots he snuggled into the lambswool we were using for a shot and remained asleep for the rest of the shoot.  He is so adorable!

It was wonderful to catch up with Paula again, this time with her new little bundle of joy.  Little baby Ben was so sleepy and beautiful for his newborn session last weekend.  His brothers were besotted with they’re new little bother.  Here are few of the highlights from the session.

It was wonderful to hear from a friend that I grew up with who is expecting baby #3.  She braved the oncoming storm so we could get some photos of her beautiful belly.  I’m looking forward to meeting the baby in a few weeks time!
