This was such a fun session!  Kristian & Krystal met me at Shorncliffe for a photo session to celebrate 2 years together.  Here’s a few of my highlights form their session.

I’m looking forward to this lovely couple’s wedding in a few weeks time.  They braved a rain shower half way through the session as we had a rather sudden change in the weather in the late afternoon.  You know you’ve got a great wedding couple when they’re happy to run in the rain for you.  I hope you enjoy your sneak peak Emily & Paul.

I am putting together some family outfit selections to give people some ideas of what they can wear to their sessions and how to blend everyon in the family together.  Since it’s winter at th moment I though I’d put together somthing that would work well for a winter session.

I get a lot of questions from clients in the lead-up to their sessions regarding what clothing is best to wear.  There are no real right or wrong clothes to wear, however some clothing does photograph better.  I think the most important thing when you’re planning a family session is that you choose clothing for everyone so that you blend well.  I’ve put this example together to give you an example of how colours blend in well together.  The colour pallette I got from www.colourlovers.com and I based my clothing selections on it.  If you find this helpful keep a look-out for more of these on this page in the coming months.

I really enjoyed this engagement session with this very sweet couple.  Jacque and Cue are having a beautiful beach wedding in a few months time and I’m looking forward to being there to photograph it.
