Bathtime

All our kids love bath-time.  Amos is no exception.  From day one he shown delight and excitement every time we give him a bath.  He loves kicking around and splashing.  We get a lot of smiles during bath time.

I know that by my 3rd child it really shouldn’t catch me by surprise but I have been so amazed at how fast he has grown.  3.66 kgs when he was born Amos is now 4.8 kgs and so much more.  I’m still in awe of how much their appearance and size transforms so quickly.  I think he is just adorable - but then again I am completely bias!

These were taken within the first few weeks of Amos’ life.  I had so much fun taking his newborn portraits – although I did at times find it tricky balancing his need for restful sleep with my desire to take advantage of the precious few newborn moments.  As I’ve said before newborn photos like this are only really possible within the first 3 weeks of their life and when it’s your own the time seems to fly.  Here are a few of the last few captures I got during the newborn phase.

I’ve been following little Noah since before he was born as they are participating in the first year package.  Kelly is a friend of mine from my childhood and I’m really enjoying our little catch-ups as we document their family growing.  This is the 3rd session, I’ll see them again when Noah turns 1.  Both the boys did so well and we got many wonderful photos.
