I’ve been following little Noah since before he was born as they are participating in the first year package.  Kelly is a friend of mine from my childhood and I’m really enjoying our little catch-ups as we document their family growing.  This is the 3rd session, I’ll see them again when Noah turns 1.  Both the boys did so well and we got many wonderful photos.

This beautiful family were great to work with.  What a great mother’s day present for mum!

I photographed little M when she was younger and it was wonderful to hear from her mum again wanting some photos of her other little one.  It was a pleasure to see them again and see the family grow.  Here is a sneak peak of our session. 

It’s been quite a few weeks since I had the privilege of photographing this adorable little boy and his lovely parents.  He made quite a early and scary appearance into the world which got in the way of our maternity session plans.  However I was glad I was able to meet him soon after his birth to capture some beautiful photos. 

The ideal time-frame for getting sleepy newborn shots is within the first 10 days of a babies life.  No-one sent the memo to little baby Jonathan.  After some beautiful awake shots he snuggled into the lambswool we were using for a shot and remained asleep for the rest of the shoot.  He is so adorable!

It was a pleasure to photograph little Will and his family this week.  Will was a star in front of the camera.  Here’s a sneak peak of their session.

It was a real privilege to meet and spend a few hours with this family.  They were great company and the session went really well and we captured lots of natural family moments.

I had a wonderful session with this family on Sunday afternoon.  Sophie was just adorable and a pleasure to photograph!

I had a wonderful morning with baby Lucas and his family yesterday.  He was an amazing subject - just fell asleep during a family photo and stayed that way.  Amazing for a 3 month old baby.  Here’s a few of my favourites from the session. 

There is nothing like photos of your children doing what they love doing.  I really encourage people to think about what they love doing and base their family portraits around that.  Whether it’s spending time at the beach or in the woods.  Eating ice-cream or fish & chips.  It’s so much nicer to have portraits that will really remind you in the future of what your children were like and what you loved doing.   Here are a few recent ones of a teddy bears picnic that I was privileged to witness.
