Mark & Leah’s Wedding

October 8th, 2009 · Weddings

It was a pleasure to capture Mark & Leah’s beautiful, intimate wedding day at Kangaroo Point.  The Jacarandas were blooming which made for some wonderful photos before the ceremony.  Here is a sneak peak…

[Favourites from 2008 - Landscapes] - Brisbane Wedding Photography - First Glimpse Photography

January 10th, 2009 · Uncategorized, Weddings

This is where I’m in my element.  I’m not much for just plain landscapes.  However put some people in the picture and I feel right at home.  I love to photograph people enjoy the great outdoors and I love to showcase how amazingly beautiful the world we live in is.  Here’s some of my favourite landscape type wedding photos from 2008.  It was hard to narrow them down.

[Wagga Wagga Wedding in July] - Brisbane Wedding Photographer - First Glimpse Photography

July 27th, 2008 · Uncategorized, Weddings

I put that as one of the tags on my first post for Cameron and Michelle’s wedding and couldn’t understand why I got 15 hits in a week - until I realised it’s the lyrics to a song.  Sorry Noel, I know you said it in your speech but it just didn’t sink in at the time.

I had no idea how great Wagga Wagga would be for photos.  Did you know they have one of the longest twilight “hour” in Australia.  The light was awesome.  Combine that with the beautiful buildings and the deciduous trees without leaves and it was such a great location for photography … but enough about photography - more about the wedding :-).

Cameron and Michelle were married on the 12th of July which incidentally was my birthday.  Hmmm, not nice guys!  They were married at the Wagga Wagga Church of Christ.

Michelle had lots of beautiful details

The reception details:

They were a great bridal party - lots of fun!

I love these trees.

Now this was a fun idea.  They went to the gelati shop in town and ordered this mamoth sundae (see the top reception photo for a photo of the whole thing).

Of course it needed to be shared with the whole bridal party.

The first dance - very well done I must say.

Everyone joined in.  Playing with my shutter speeds to get the movement.

Here are a few from my Second Shooter Sophie Schrimer.  Look her up if you’re looking for a photographer in Wagga Wagga.

Isn’t she just adorable?
