This was a beautiful day. The ceremony was held in a Marque at the Victoria Park Golf Course. Features included a horse and cart, a dove release, a beautiful harp and guitar duo, stretch limo, beautiful scenery and a stunning bride and groom. The reception was held in a marque at Victoria Park and was also very beautiful.
Congratulations guys! We wish you the very best for your future together.
I’ve just finished off this wedding and thought that I’d share a few more of my favourites. To view all the highlights from this wedding the slideshow can be viewed at this link:
Alana and Daniel got married on Saturday with a beautiful ceremony in a Marque at Victoria Park Golf Course. Here’s a sneak peak of the day.
Alana looking gorgeous…
With the girls. These dresses were made by Marilyn Crystelle- a designer and dressmaker based on the Sunshine Coast I can thoroughly recommend her for made to measure bridal and formal wear. She’s amazing! I loved the beading on these dresses.

The boys at the golf course
Alana arrived in a horse and cart. So beautiful.
Candle lighting during the ceremony. Both Mum’s helped light the candles.
A dove release. I never knew doves moved so fast!
The happy couple after the ceremony
After a quick switch to the Limo we headed to the botanical gardens for some location photos
Congraulations guys! I hope you have a wonderful and relaxing time overseas.
It will take a little while to download but be patient the wait is worth it. You may also be asked to install a program. Please be reassured that the program is safe and neither me nor any of my clients have ever had a problem with it.
This is my official new logo. I decided it was time for a change. In case you’re wondering why the butterfly. Apart from the fact that I really like butterflys (Natalie’s room has a butterfly theme), I also thought they fit with the concept of First Glimpse. Butterflys break through their coccoon and start a completely different life - much like when you get married, or when a new baby is born, or as children enter any new stage of life. The butterfly’s unique beauty passes so quickly as they only live a few days after they leave the coocoon and to me that is a reminder of the need to capture images while you can - moments pass so quickly and we want to remember the beauty and uniquness of each stage of our lives.
I also want to thank Lauren who helped me with the concept and design. This blog will be covered in pohtos of Lauren in a few weeks as she’s getting married next Saturday! I’m really looking forward to photographing her wedding.
