It’s been a while since I’ve posted any pictures of my own kids. Here’s a few recent ones.
I’ll start we Tegan. She’s nearly 5 months now. She’s an amazingly easy baby. Full of smiles and rarely cries. She’s taking after her sister in the moving department though – we think she could be crawling fairly soon.
Her hair has gotten redder over time. I can’t believe I have a red-head! I never would have though considering Mark and I were both blue eyed blonds. There is a bit of red in Mark’s family though.
The pink background really doesn’t go with the red hair - however, this is a typical smile of Tegan’s – full of expression.
Now for Natalie. She turned 2 a few weeks ago. On one hand I can’t believe that it’s only been 2 years. For some reason I feel like I’ve been a parent for a lot longer than that. However, in other ways it’s really flown by. She’s becoming such a little girl and appart from the tantrums is lots of fun!
I had to do the customary Women’s Day cookbook cake for her birthday. I have to confess I did steer her towards picking one of the easier ones. Next year I might not be so lucky. Obviously I didn’t take this shot.
Natalie was lucky enough to have two parties. Here’s the other cake. Not quite as impressive.
Here’s a few more formal ones of Natalie. I don’t usually do studio-type shots but I’ve been experimenting with the light in front of our door. I think this was the first time Natalie has acually posed for a photo for me – usually she’s not very co-operative.
Showing off her red Tutu.
And finally, one of the two of them together.
I know I’m very biased, but aren’t both my little grand-daughters and the photographs taken by my daughter, just gorgeous!
